The Audit Department performs an annual audit on each Fund member to determine if any adjustments need to be made to the amount of premiums paid. Once reviewed and processed, the audit may result in a refund to the Fund member or an additional amount due the Fund.

On each workers’ compensation claim filed, the Claims Department determines coverage, makes appropriate benefit payments, and brings the claim to its conclusion.

For companies performing business in the construction industry, the Underwriting Department reviews and determines if new applicants meet the established underwriting criteria. If met, the applicant’s workers’ compensation coverage is provided by the KY AGCSIF.
